{"id":586,"date":"2013-07-03T15:10:00","date_gmt":"2013-07-03T15:10:00","guid":{"rendered":""},"modified":"2024-05-03T15:25:28","modified_gmt":"2024-05-03T05:25:28","slug":"enrolment-procedures","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.spx.nsw.edu.au\/enrolment\/enrolment-procedures\/","title":{"rendered":"Enrolment Procedures"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Enrolment period for our general intakes of Year 5 and Year 7 takes place during March and April <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>two years<\/strong><\/span> prior to the student\u2019s commencement.<\/p>\n<p>For all other years please complete the <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/enrol.stpiusx.nsw.edu.au\/enquiry\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><u>Expression of Interest<\/u><\/a> <\/strong>form and we will keep you updated with key dates and information relevant to your year of interest.<\/p>\n<p>There is no fee to lodge the Expression of Interest form and completion of the Expression of Interest form does not constitute an enrolment nor a place on a waiting list.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Applications for Years 5 and 7 2026 are NOW OPEN.<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/enrol.stpiusx.nsw.edu.au\/student\/enrolment\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-11419 alignnone\" src=\"https:\/\/www.spx.nsw.edu.au\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/03\/CHATSWOOD-OPEN-DAY-TOURS-300x90.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"90\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.spx.nsw.edu.au\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/03\/CHATSWOOD-OPEN-DAY-TOURS-300x90.png 300w, https:\/\/www.spx.nsw.edu.au\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/03\/CHATSWOOD-OPEN-DAY-TOURS-1024x307.png 1024w, https:\/\/www.spx.nsw.edu.au\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/03\/CHATSWOOD-OPEN-DAY-TOURS-768x230.png 768w, https:\/\/www.spx.nsw.edu.au\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/03\/CHATSWOOD-OPEN-DAY-TOURS.png 1181w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<h1><\/h1>\n<h3><strong>Application Fee<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>The application for enrolment fee is $220.00 and is <u>non-refundable<\/u>.<\/p>\n<p>Parents are asked to supply the following:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>a brief personal summary of church and school involvement<\/li>\n<li>copies of birth and sacramental certificates<\/li>\n<li>Immunisation record<\/li>\n<li>last two school reports and NAPLAN test results (where applicable)<\/li>\n<li>A small passport size photo of the applicant is also necessary<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><strong>Enrolment Interviews and Confirmation of Enrolment Fee<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Every applicant for which a position is established is invited to attend an interview.\u00a0 Following interviews, successful applicants are asked to confirm their position with a $2,000 confirmation fee.\u00a0 <strong>The confirmation fee is non-refundable and non-transferable should you wish to cancel or defer the enrolment. It cannot be deducted from Tuition fees.<\/strong>\u00a0 All successful applicants and their parents are asked to sign a commitment form<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Waiting List Information<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Applicants who do not make the first round of offers are placed on a waiting list.\u00a0 Further offers are made as soon as places become available.\u00a0 Waiting lists are fluid.\u00a0 Offers can come as late as the beginning of the new school year<\/p>\n<p>Please note:\u00a0 For the general intake Years of 5 and 7, unsuccessful applicants who are on a waiting list from the previous year who wish to be considered for the following year need to make a fresh application. \u00a0The enrolment application fee will apply and standard selection criteria will stand.<\/p>\n<h3><\/h3>\n<h3><strong>Waiting List for Year 5, 2025 and Year 7, 2025<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>If you are interested in going onto the Waiting list for either Year 5, 2025 OR Year 7, 2025 please complete the following application form.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/spxchatswood.formstack.com\/forms\/enrolmentapplication2025_waitinglist\">WAITING LIST APPLICATION<\/a><\/p>\n<h3><\/h3>\n<h3><strong>Application for Enrolment for Years 8-11<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Please contact the College Registrar on 9411-4733 or email\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:enrolments@stpiusx.nsw.edu.au\">enrolments@stpiusx.nsw.edu.au<\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Additional Information<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.spx.nsw.edu.au\/enrolment\/open-day\/\"><strong>Open Day<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The College Open Day is held annually in March on a Saturday.
